27.07.2022 We are proud that initial microplastics pollution drift studies of our team with the methods that have been implemented in Present the present service has resulted in 3-dimensional pollution backtracking analysis by Frishfelds et.al. published in Frontiers in Marine Science. Results show higher pollution densities closer to the mouth of the rivers Daugava and Lielupe. Potential pollution source and its evolution in time in the Gulf of Riga and Daugava estuary coastal system in summer 2018 has been investigated.
